About:
I have recently moved from Belfast, to Downpatrick, Ireland, We have converted an old corn/flax mill built in 1718 to a house with a huge garden. I am a very keen gardener. I have taken a lot of inspiration from Eric' s Gardenforktv podcast and also from the Alternative Kitchen Garden Podcast.
How did you first find out about Gardenfork and Real World Green?

As an experiment I am trying to grow potatoes in a bag. It is a garden rubbish bag so it is tough. I put in sprouted potatoes in September and they are suppose to be ready on Christams day for eating.....We will see.

I like the strawberry idea.. will give it a go in spring.

In spring I will be moving to the Mill the garden is big but it is a total mess at the moment.

To Eric - Cowboy Dreams

I asked your advice on where to buy a dutch oven in New York went I went recently. I did pick one up and it was heavy and a backbreaker to get home, but I did it. So far I have not tried it. I am hoping to make baked beans in it on a fire pit we are going to build at the mill ( just like cowboys only in Ireland!)
