About:
Gardenfork, a bi-weekly internet video show about cooking, gardening, and other stuff. I love cooking and gardening and know enough about these and other things to be dangerous. Other things may include home and auto repair, as well as my fondness for hot dogs. I have an eclectic background and this compelling drive to share with everyone the stuff that swirls through my head, whether the world wants it or not. All this plus Henry, our Yellow Labrador, and Cash, our thoroughbred racehorse. garden + fork = gardenfork.tv

Professional Deliciousness

"If the divine creator has taken pains to give us delicious and exquisite things to eat, the least we can do is prepare them well and serve them with ceremony."
Fernand Point (1897-1955)
This has been the "motto" of Anne Coleman's blog for years. She truly believes that there is a genius cook inside each of us. With the right ingredients and accurate instructions, plus patience and a little bit

I had to do some basement floor repair at one point - somewhat similar situation as your sister's. When cleaning the crack out, I found that using tools to pick out the loose stuff was a pain because the pieces didn't always come out but fell sometimes.

I took a shop vacuum and two-handed the task, picking with a small tool and vacuuming up the pieces. Worked really well. I suspect blowing the pieces out of the crack with an air compressor would work well too.

I love what you do. The yoghurt experiment was a hoot and cooking banana bread with your Mum was fantastic. Any chance of some butternut squash recipes?

I saw you toss out the top parts of your chives you chopped on your last episode.. i know its a little counterintuitive but the top part of the chive has way more oniony, chivey flavor than do the bottoms.

So Eric, Are the funghi better in Chicago or New York? Does proximity to the funghi make them sweeter or more fattening? Inquiring minds want to know.

Love the screwball cake! It looks very tasty and as much fun to make as to eat! Keep it coming Eric, the show makes me smile.
