In July It gets really HOT here in KS. When I start to see them getting a little to hot I have some left over screen door material that I put over the top of them. That seems to keep a little less direct sun off them and on those days that seems t...
I am game for a replacement.
On my allotment in London a local school built one of these bottle green houses on their plot a couple of years ago. Sadly, they lost interest in the growing-vegetable component of gardening, but the green house has endured!

Its that time again!!
Well it is that time to start getting the garden going. I wish the rain would Stop!! I really hate saying that cause come July I will be wishing the rain to come back. But I am ready to start getting something planted. Instead I'm doing my senior work out just putting my rain gear on. My old bones will be glad when the warmer days arrive, but there must be something to do in the rain? especially now that I don't dance in the rain puddles anymore. I guess I just settle for going back through the seed catalogs looking at the stuff I didn't get. The Sun is on the way!

- Thanks for your note from waaaaaaay back about my blog posts. I try not to put too many up, as they are chapters from my book, and while my agent is doing her thing, I don't have a publisher yet. My agent would kill me if I put too many posts (chapters) up. I do, however, need to get on the stick and finish some of the more recent chapters, so maybe I will put one up today....thanks for the comments! Jess.

- Thanks. Frustratingly, I had to remove much of it because it's the stuff of my manuscript, which is making the rounds with publishers...my agent urged me to get most of it out of the public eye...Sigh. I liked sharing the stories and miss posting to the blog. Thanks so much, Jessica.
