Gardenfork 3rd most popular Food Podcast on iTunes. wow.

OK, i just fell out of my chair here. Just checking on the iTunes Food section and I find that Gardenfork is #3 in popularity . That's pretty amazing.

Gardenfork is ranked higher than Gary's WineLibraryTV and Martha Stewart. Thanks to all of you who watch the show.

Charlie Pup, the new family member

Just wanted to jot a quick note here.

As you can see from the picts and shows, we have a new yellow labrador puppy, Charlie.

Charlie is Henry's niece. Henry's brother, Dozer, who lives down the road, fathered a litter of pups, and we asked out neighbors, who are hobby Labrador Retriever breeders, if we could ha… Continue

Hiving a package in Brooklyn and our bees in CT arriving soon

I helped a friend of mine hive 2 packages of bees on a Brooklyn rooftop the other day. I can't post most of the pictures- because beekeeping is still illegal in NYC - and the picts have landmarks in the background.

But, i did help hive the packages and it was a blast. a few remind… Continue

Ford steps up to the Gardenfork plate, hands over the keys to a new Ford Fiesta!

Next week I'll be driving a new Ford Fiesta all summer, how cool is that?

I'm working with the Ford Motor Company to get the word out about their new Ford Fiesta, and they are providing us with one of the first 100 new Fiestas.

Neat. So Henry, Mij, Moose and Charlie will have a new set of wheels to drive around in, and we'll be doing some more cool stuff with Ford this summer. More details as we go along here. I"ll be posting updates to my Green House blog here.

Here is a video of the cars be… Continue

And then the strangest thing happened, i started learning stuff!!

RealLifeMom.com is a blog written by a mom. And she wrote a review of Gardenfork. I always find it fascinating to read people's reviews of the show, because I live the show, I'm inside it, and its fun to see it from the outside.

RealLifeMom is a my kind of blog writer, she writes from the heart, and is a real person.

at first, I thought that it was amusing enough to watch this pretending to be a professional show host while at the same time making mistakes and forgetting things. He would maContinue

Help Eric! I need more videos on starting my beehive. I have them in the bottom box right now with a feeder on top. But when I have to take the feeder off in a week I have to add the top box and drawers. Plus I only had eight drawers in the bottom so I have to add two there also. Can you show me step by step how to get this hive set up? Emma

Eric I am enjoying this site very much. And being here in Italy now I must learn so much about there soil and plants. I found out that the soil here is so much different. So I am experimenting with it and learning. It was much easier to do my gardening in U.S.A. as I have done for years there. And miss planting my favorite's.

I don't know how long this site has been up for. But I like the natural way you expose your idea's and thoughts and bring them out to your viewers with no pre-acting. I find this more real and more informative and more personal.

Thank you for letting me join your site. And keep on GREENING!!!!

Have you done anything about composting with worms? I'm considering trying again. Last time I tried I left the worms for a week to "settle down" and when I opened the lid they were all at the top trying to escape. Worms went over the back fence where I assume they lived happily until winter. JoEl

Hi Eric,

Sorry, for the delay in response. We've been pretty busy with trade shows etc.
The domes in question are monolithic rather than geodesic. As passive solar structures they are very energy efficient in addition to their great strength. Because they are made of wood instead of concrete, they are light, flexible and extremely earthquake resistant.

You can get a 950 sq ft cottage built for under $100,000 - fully finished.
