Finally, I finished my hoop house. This project uses about 85% recycled products in its construction. So far we have planted several items including onions, lettuce and beets.
I can understand that. Although I can plant a bit of a fall garden (I am in middle Georgia) I already miss my cukes and squash. The fall garden here is just so different; more root veggies. My wife and I start each day at the garden and it really ...

- I am a photojournalist and am currently working/living and trying to educate my community here in rural Barnesville, Georgia. With a rich legacy of farming and manufacturing we are an ideal community to move forward with sustainability ideas. It has to begin in our own backyards though which is why I have begun my own garden, started a county recycling program, and author an increasingly popular blog.
