Question:
If we drip irrigate regularly, will that prevent our garden from burning up when the july sun gets to it?
Hasn't rained here in a couple of weeks and the watering dosn't seem to be doing the job.
Thanks

It will get you a lot better chance, anyway. Note that "regularly" does not necessarily mean frequently. You still want to provide the equivalent of 1" of rainfall a week for most crops. If you water too frequently, your plants will be shallow rooted, and then not be able to get the full range of nutrients in your soil, and not be able to deal with hot/dry days. So I'd only water most things 1-2 times per week. 3 at the most for things that are naturally shallow-rooted.

In July It gets really HOT here in KS. When I start to see them getting a little to hot I have some left over screen door material that I put over the top of them. That seems to keep a little less direct sun off them and on those days that seems to make them happy. Good luck!
